Thread regarding Sears layoffs

I like Sears

How hard is it to believe that some of us actually like this place? Even though we know that the end is imminent, that changes nothing. We'll be needing a new job sooner or later. Some of us have decided to make it later because we have too many good memories and too many coworkers we like spending time with to walk away. Once the time comes we will, but until then I'll keep doing what I love surrounded by people I like. Can everybody now stop asking stupid questions about why we are still here? We want to be. That should be enough for all of you.

@etv @drt I went from Sears to WalMart. Working at WalMart depends on the store as it does anywhere. The management in my store is okay. I make $16 an hour and am responsible for making sure laundry and cleaning supplies are fully stocked and signed. I am off Friday and Sunday and get a consistent 32 to 35 hours a week. I get decent and comparable medical benefits and periodically quarterly bonuses. All in all it's okay.

Nope, I wrote these people are too lame to even work at pathetic WM, which itself is the for the lowest life forms. Sears is even lower than that, LMAO. 😆😀😉😁🤪

etc+1 says they're pathetic. LOL I stayed at my job knowing full well it was about to close. Why? Because I didn't really need the job anyway, and once it closed I planned on traveling for a few months. Funny how the one calling others pathetic has time to be doing so.......probably just sitting around in their underwear all day with no motivation to do anything with their life themselves. LMAO

I personally made the decision to stay because Sears leadership is making the right adjustments to make us profitable and with Sears home improvement and in home services we are set to win by the end of Q3 2021.

They stay because they are too pathetic to even get a pathetic job at WM, which anybody with a pulse can get. All yall losers will be sent packing soon anyway, so moot point.

Nice post! Yes, it is a stupid question to keep asking, but too many people today think everybody should see the world through their own lens...........probably why the country is so polarized. Too many have a hot take on a subject that doesn't pertain to them, and which nobody asked their opinion on. Why do some people stay at Sears? Because they want to. Get over it.
