This company is a sinking ship. The advanced notice is a 'Iceberg ahead' cry from leadership. We will end up in the bottom of the ocean like DiCaprio while upper management manage to escape in their rafts

the reason is simple ... FAANG layoffs were based on projects ... so it was easy to axe whole teams. At Qualcomm, VPs and Sr Directors are squabbling about how to protect their cliques and hence it is taking a lot of time.
