It sounds almost too good to be true.

I am a former Juniper employee who retired three years ago. Layoffs are definitely happening. Every day I get a text or two from a former colleague who has been exited. And now Open to Work banners are appearing on a lot of LinkedIn profiles for people I am connected to. Wishing you all the best as you go on to the next thing.
@1v6 not just Juniper. Private Cloud orgs getting hit too. More coming next week.
Layoffs have begun. India notifications last week, Ireland this week and next, and we here US layoffs coming next week. It's big. One team in Ireland lost 2 of 8. Some saying it is named people which may indicate they are cutting low performers. A lot of changes to our ratings/performance system this year seems consistent with this rumor. Hang on everyone.
hearing 15% mid-October, not sure which BUs, but most likely due to Juniper merger, however, not sure anyone is truly safe when it comes to cuts.
@1ah are you sure?
Oct 13th
People are being laid off... 1 in my group.
It's still early. October is usually when things start moving. You first hear some upper management changes which is just the shuffling of a lot of uninspiring leaders and then you get invited to a Monday call.
Likely no big layoffs until they figure out how many Juniper people are going to stay... There's massive amounts of overlap in marketing, IT, HR, operations, etc... Once they get an idea of who from Juniper will accept offer letters, then they'll start slashing positions.
Greed is everywhere ! private companies will offshore, outsource and convert full time positions to contractors to improve profits.
They don’t care about the country or American citizens.
It is too good to be true.
Don't be fooled, it's almost October, last month of the fiscal year. Winter is coming.
@e1 what do you mean by that?
They’re cooking up a spin-off, not layoffs.
@OP Monday/Tuesday 1st round of Juniper notifications go out. That seems to be focus for now.
