I know the feeling. I work at Crestview Aerospace in Crestview Florida. We try to build your sides and bottoms for the chinooks. Josh jones has destroyed our efficiency and quality here. Loose rivets and oversized holes don’t matter to him. Only stamp offs and sales. We see. We are focusing now on Northrop Grumman only. F-16. Guess there will be some crashes soon due to poor sealant mixes in assy shop.

Bye Bye Boeing: airBaltic Sells Its 737 Simulator Following Airbus Move
https://simpleflying.com/airbaltic-boeing-737-simulator-sold/

It’s out with the old relics and in with the modern Airbus offerings at airBaltic,
As the airline says farewell to its Boeing 737 flight simulator.
The simulator, which has been at airBaltic since 2010, has been sold to a
French company.
It comes following the airline’s move to being an all-Airbus A220 operator.
For years the Boeing 737 was a reliable workhorse in the airBaltic fleet.
However, times change.
The airline had already been intending to retire the Boeing narrowbody when
the pandemic struck, and it temporarily ceased all flight activity.
When the airline returned to operation, it was without the Boeing 737.

Boeing workers have been told to clear out their belongings from the
Longacres headquarters in Renton by the end of March,
suggesting a sale of the $100 million office complex is coming this spring.

Two sources with knowledge of the matter told the Business Journal about
the order to vacate, speaking on condition they weren't identified because
they're not authorized to speak about the matter publicly.
"Everybody has been told to get in there, collect your stuff and get it out,"
said one of the sources, adding that several staffers have already gone in
and carted off desk items and files, and taken them home in boxes.

Airbus last month delivered just 21 aircraft. Meanwhile, with deliveries of
the MAX resuming, Boeing fared slightly better with 26 deliveries.
Despite this, according to its order books,
the American aerospace giant hasn’t delivered a single 787 since October.

  • Boeing Wipes Away More Orders After Awful 2020

Last week, Boeing reported that its backlog declined by a
full $100 billion in 2020, ending the year at $363 billion.
The company struggled to generate orders throughout the year.
Meanwhile, it had to remove numerous orders from its backlog due to
outright cancellations and judgments that certain orders were likely
to fall through.
737 MAX orders keep disappearing
Boeing booked its first major 737 MAX order in two years last December,
as Ryanair exercised options for 75 additional units.
The aircraft manufacturer also booked a separate order for seven MAX jets
from an unidentified customer. However, Boeing removed 66 orders from
its backlog during December, leaving its year-end firm backlog for the 737
family at 3,321 units.

Boeing 737 MAX Likely Ungrounded In October,
Flying Passengers In December.
https://viewfromthewing.com/boeing-737-likely-ungrounded-in-october-flying-passengers-in-december/

At the end of last week American Airlines told its pilots,
that based on conversations with the FAA and Stephen ÐicҚson
that they “see the finish line, it’s making good progress”
bringing the Boeing 737 MAX into service.
Their “targeted timeframe… is end of October-ish for the un-grounding
to occur” for the Max. American intends to fly passengers in
commercial service with the MAX starting in the second half of December.
Based on Boeing ministry of propaganda.

The Joint Operation Evaluation Board process for the aircraft is “finalizing”
while the agency’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking which closes in September
Should Yield A Final Rule in October and
“will mandate software and other modifications, — some
American Airlines are already working through.” [What they don’t know?]

American can’t start pilot training until the FAA publishes its final rule in October.
Then they’ll “get check airmen trained, and start bringing pilots through for
mandatory training.”

  • Ryanair Chief Rules Out Boeing Max Arrival Until Next Summer

Ryanair Holdings Plc Chief Executive Officer Michael O’Leary
said he won’t take delivery of Boeing Co.’s 737 Max jetliner until
summer 2021 as air travel claws its way back from the
coronavirus outbreak.

Europe’s biggest discount airline is one of the main customers for the
Max with 210 orders. By the time the pandemic hit European flights,
and O’Leary said in an interview Friday that Ryanair doesn’t now want
the planes until markets return to normal.

The Irish carrier is banking on the collapse of weaker rivals to drive growth,
O’Leary said. Its flights should reach about 40% of the usual schedule in
the month they resume, most likely late June or early July, increasing
to 60% by September, the last month of the summer season,
he predicted.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-boeing-737max-lawsuit/boeing-is-sued-for-336-million-over-canceled-737-max-order-idUSKCN2243FY

troubled 737 MAX planes.

In a complaint filed in Chicago federal court,
ALAFCO Aviation Lease and Finance Co (ALAF.KW) accused Boeing of breach of
contract for keeping the payments despite being unable to deliver the planes or
provide a revised delivery schedule.

ALAFCO said it canceled its order on March 6 after Boeing failed to deliver nine
aircraft on time.
It said Boeing has resisted its claim that the problems amounted to a
“non-excusable delay” that would justify repayment.

Boeing did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
