I’m hearing all the time about small numbers of people being sacked here and there.

tons of layoffs in Brand Management specifically OBSD
Yes! I know at least two departments have had “small” layoffs. About two weeks apart. I think one area laid off about 5-10 people and the other laid off 10-15.
Feels like layoffs have relaxed for now, and with the people that remained they want us to be more hybrid/in office and getting more focused with the whole merch, capabilities, & insights, strats &growth fiasco
Anyone know how many are affected in this round? I am sick of them avoiding the press by keeping the number under the 60x where they are required to report it by law.

The language from leadership around the word “layoffs” has shifted. Just a few months ago they were assuring us that layoffs weren’t going to happen, now they are dancing around the topic and won’t address the layoffs that are already happening directly.
Multiple people are being hired in our Department to do the work a number of us already do. Hopefully once they’re trained, I’ll get called into an 8:45 private “status” meeting.
CPO Prat and his goons have one objective, turn Target into an Indian company. They even proudly fly Indian flags in HQ buildings; now try flying an American flag. All of that DEI equality and inclusion BS is only meant to suppress any dissent on brazen racism from Indians.
It seems so. They said we were safe from layoffs and not to worry. That was a lie. I am going to assume that they are going to continue to look to “improve efficiency”.
