Thread regarding CDK Global Inc. layoffs

Digital sale to Ansira. Thoughts?

Will the sale put CDK in a better cash position to survive this COVID-19 mess? Will the employees affected be better off at Ansira?

Another round of layoffs headed Sincros way. Loss of business and the recent hire of 15 tech support reps in India. Expect layoffs before the holidays.

I was on the CDK digital team and recently transitioned over to Ansira/Sincro, only to be informed my entire team is being eliminated as of Aug 1st. So much for that.

a better cash position is not relative here. I believe you will see a trade-off here. Brian Z is staffing the San Jose office. Digital was written before that last earns call and that hit was realized in Q2 2019. CDK still has long term struggles ahead and I believe they will see further shrinkage across the company, with an uptick on the backside of Q3 due to a shift in there Sign Anywhere feature.

I think it will. Not as much dead weight in resources to carry around, the Seattle office rent is no longer eating at the balance sheet, what is not to like? Digital was a money-loser after the court told CDK to stop bundling it, so why not find someone who wants it more than CDK does?
