Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

A total scam

This company is fundamentally a scam. It's continuously changing and declining. Worst is yet to come.
Offshore locations like India and Poland completely out of touch and control. Errors are amassing at a dangerous pace. The glory days are a thing of the past for State Street

You should see the racketeering that's happening in Alpha. Instead of reserving roles for full timers; State Street quietly hired 1,000+ Deloitte contractors on a MULTI year contract and was getting overbilled on top of it. This could be one of the reasons why State Street employees are not being monetary rewarded. There's no money left after paying consultants and senior leaders.

I agree with you.
Micromanaging is rampant. So is bullying and mobbing.
First commandment for every senior manager is: protect your A**.
I have to help on a daily basis almost Poland and India. Avoid errors costing thousands of bucks.

Starting 20 years ago, the company hired Bean Counters who's job it was to cut expenses at any cost. This meant the yearly laying off of hundreds of U.S workers.

Then outsourcing work , the brining in H1B workers to the U.S offices to replace U.S workers.

Also why do we hire so many OPT and H1B students with no real work experience?
How is there no American workers to hire having no work experience?
