I heard budget cuts are going on and layed off few subcons who are with Infosys. Seems like Verizon is not happy with this infosys as they don’t perform good with their employees and not giving option to sub contracts. Any ideas is infosys contracts are closing

@178 this administration is doing everything for BRICS not to push through. If India is a BRICS supporting, they shouldnt be doing business with the US.
India has been cozying up with China in creating the BRICS which will put any relationship we have with them at risk. I wouldn't be surprised if this administration makes moves to ban outsourcing to them very soon.
I think the India bo-m for US offshoring might be coming to an end. Alot of companies benefited from offshoring and sub contracting to India companies. But there were also some negative things that came with it. I think the whole idea of globalization, offshoring of jobs should be re-evaluated. To what extent does US companies do it without being detrimental to the US job market. US new graduates cant find a job.
I saw some news that a new bill is being worked on that will penalize companies who offshore US roles.
