Retention Bonus?

What’s this retention bonus people keep talking about? Who’s eligible and how much do they get?

It's stock that vests in 18 months, according to the one page PDF I got about it. I haven't done the exact math but 21.5% of bonus sounds roughly correct. We were told it's performance-based, and that they're still giving them out so if you haven't heard about it yet, hang tight.

So yes g11 and above but only if you’re a good performer - that’s is up to your Manager. Majority will get it, not all - out of those eligible I mean

@OP My retention bonus made me laugh out loud. I had never known we could see our Incentive Target range on workday before however is this a new feature? I was never “privy” to this info before?

No mention of having to pay anything back however if we do decide to leave?

@109 is that 21.5% of the target bonus is all your bonus, or it's an extra 21.5% bonus? I'm confused...

@kx
Not sure why this post is downvoted.
21.5% of yearly bonus seems to be correct.
My manager just informed me about it and sum he told me is 21.5% of what I have in workday as my incentive target.

@fs u r d-mb. Bonuses are not taxed at 50%. The federal supplemental withholding tax is 22%. The supplemental income tax is not in addition to standard income tax rates. Instead, you use the supplemental rate in place of the standard withholding rates. Use your brain the next time you looser.

I thank Fiserv leadership for doing this.

bonus are taxed at 50% ... we need proper raises, not d-mb bonuses

Scamserv bonus. Instead of giving out actual raises, they will give out pretend ones and then take them back via some loophole.
