This is five years in a row. Unbelievable. Glad I retired. It was getting bad my last few years. Had a cousin laid off a few years ago. He makes double what he made at UP now with his new company. I wish you young men and women well. Remember HR is not your friend. They are there to protect the company at all costs.

@16ucv How in the world are you a brakeman in Tx, very few jobs have a brakeman. Like Literally, are you a brakeman on your trainset at home? Yes, it's the worst company, they can barely read and write, they enjoy paying out lawsuits after lawsuits. They have L5 so many people for the craziest things, set fake investigations, at the end of the day it's a scam company. This is the most fraudulent company on the stock exchange and let's not bring in the managers. The world thinks highly of you because you work here, but too management and the executive management your trash. Every employee is trash, you guys can't do anything right, nothing is ever done right. My dad retired, several family's members retired and here my dum--ss is still waiting to leave this he-l hole. One day I'm going to stretch this train out block crossings, run pass a signal, let's not forget being a key train and quit. This is a trash company, being ran by the least educated people in the universe.
Laying off many people, but still keeping that damned over-hyped steam engine and it's crew on the the payroll so they can rune once or twice a year and tie up everything.
Keep those negative reviews coming! Gives me hope! Dump gas in the rat holes, light aatch, and maybe some of this vermin management will cease to exist...
What company that your cousin work for that doubles union Pacific ? Cause I'm a brakman in Texas trying to look for other companies and positions in railroad that pays well

Why is it unbelievable? It's totally believable considering the executive team the UP has. Fritz is still convinced he's doing the right thing for the company. You can't cater to shareholders and pi-s off the employees of any company, then expect good things to happen. Everything that has happened at the UP, all happened under Fritz. Him and his executive team are the ones responsible for everything. They were WARNED from the very start of PSR this would happen. The warnings were ignored, and the company went to sh1t. So I don't find it unbelievable at all. Personally, I'd like to say congratulations to the UP. I haven't seen any other company achieve such rating and still be in business.
