What’s with all these folks in “LDP” leadership development program going around trying to run things? I know they have the GMDP and ITLDP. We had one on our team and apparently he was pitching to cut all older folks and replace with younger cheaper employees to cut costs. These guys are arrogant. Anyone else know wtf is going on

General Management Development Program (GMDP)
Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP, hired for jobs in Finance)
@16f Give her some grace. She’s young and she thinks she knows what truly leadership is. I met with her before. Karen made the program originally so it’s not entirely her fault.
@16m general management & finance LDP
I got STFU - but could someone translate GMDP and FLDP? Thanks.
Most GMDP at other companies hire grads with 5+ years of experience min with an MBA (who are also struggling to get jobs). They’re getting hired for their ‘potential’ and graduating from undergrad recently. I work with one on my team. It’s absolutely insulting for people who worked here for years trying to move up within the company. Give me a break. The GMDP manager is a JOKE.
@k4 this guy wasn’t put into any position to decide strategy. I’m saying he thinks he is and goes around proposing crazy stuff because he’s arrogant. Seems like they all are. And I’m not the only one who thinks this.
Agreed. Can someone tell the GMDP manager or whatever the title is to hire actual REAL workers? They are so annoying to work with. Thanks.
In Finance the FLDPs are generally very smart and great colleagues to work with. They get put into grunt positions and certainly aren’t being looked at to propose strategy anything like what OP describes.
you pretty much explained what is going on....
Place is out of control.
Bring in cheap resources and/or Disney employees that are clueless about IT and Healthcare both.

This is either a scam post or HR hasnt gotten to the person yet to tell them they'd better stfu.
