It has been quietly happening in phases over the last 6 months of 2025. The most recent round of notices went out the end of October 2025. The next layoff is rumored to be March 2026. Before being laid off automation initiatives are kicked off for a function and employees are requested to work with automation teams in India in an effort to create “efficiency”, soon after they are told some new team members are in Amgen India, then a month or so later the employees receive notice that their jobs in the US will be transferred to the technology hub of the company in India. The “restructuring” is moving white collar jobs over to Amgen India to automate jobs, leverage AI and pay lower wages. There are over 800 open positions hiring at Amgen India.
@14jm correct lay offs were announced with approximately 20% of CCE for jobs to move to India. More lay offs are coming within the technology team.

Heard the same thing from my management yesterday. I personally haven't received the official communication yet.
Amgen had a layoff today due to them sending jobs over to the India Amgen.
Stop posting this nonsense, on EVERY company's page. Clearly, you are someone who is seeking fodder for the Biotech layoffs news bulletins. It is annoying. No one owes you any information. You are like the pests in sales.
