This thread is for info about potential Valmont layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Anyone know what caused the sudden CFO change this week?
@1kab I agree. There is some deadweight who report to corporate but sit at the various sites. I assume the return to work is to weed them out.
There's tons more dead weight at corporate. I'm sure this new return to work policy is to weed out the remaining seat warmers.
The layoffs are mostly done and I don’t see anything on the horizon. The layoffs were good. There was a ton of deadweight at the corporate office. Losing both Diane and Tim was a positive for Valmont.
@1611 what location?
Seems like all the layoffs were people 45+ with the exception of a few. The sad thing is the red line was drawn by leaders themselves who were 45+. Cannibalism is alive and well at Valmont.
June 2025….Another round of layoffs. Valmont is an extremely toxic company to work for. It is so sad. High-performing people who support their families have been impacted and treated poorly. Robert Daugherty would be heartbroken to see this happening to his company. I only hope the board will see what’s happening and step in to save this Nebraska company before it’s too late.
A lot of good people cut due to political BS drama at the top. Valmont has been destroyed overnight by Avner, Shannon, and Tom.
Decentralization to take Valmont all the way back the 80s. Diane was taken out and all the old head nobodies with axes to grind are in charge now. How will the shareholders react and question Avner and Tom when stock price has been up over 200% over the last 5 years. This was personal vendettas and nothing more.
No real communication, no way to figure out who is actually gone except gossip. Weirdest reorg I've ever seen.

And the carnage continues….wave 3
Heard about a new wave of senior leadership in June. Shannon is flipping everything upside down now that Diane is gone.
Not sure anyone is reading this but the bottom is about to fall out. Empty suit Avner the yes man is ki-ling a company. Congrats. I hope you and fu-k face Tom are making a lot of money ruining lives. Fu-k you both.
The solar division just cut half the employees in early April.
I think the bottom is about to drop out. Right after Q2 announcements. Anyone have solid information? I have heard major cuts to overhead related positions. Never did layoffs when Steve K was there.
