Global sales leader has given mid level management orders to clean house before the new year. As much as 70% of the sales force could be in danger. Hug your loved ones and brace yourself!

That's garbage, most of my team did not even get 70 PC bonus and its a large team. They are not one bit happy with effective indentured servitude under horribly stressful conditions. Just because they are not posting here does not mean they dancing on the tables with joy. They fear being identified. Tell you what, do a real anonymous survey of the company and present live results but you won't do that because Ben usually makes people disappear who's truth becomes too loud. We all know this. While your at it publish the yoy financials too. Job market is tough as well , people have been trying to leave.
@1ae it’s so easy to see when management tries to damage control. Most sales people talk to a wide range of reps and managers, especially if you’ve been around. It’s very easy to understand how each RD is doing, how reps are performing against what was a blanket number for everyone because Norlin is worthless, and what customers are walking away. Co Toni g to try to pull the wool over while just conducting rah rah sessions only makes leadership look foolish.
@1ae choice words sung from a high horse.
I like it here
There is little value in debating issues when most participants lack access to verified data or an understanding of the actual metrics and trajectories involved. If you believe the situation is untenable, it may be healthier to pursue alternative opportunities rather than engaging in speculative negativity driven by a small group of voices. The overwhelming majority of commentary here is inaccurate or poorly informed, with the remainder consisting of conjecture framed as analysis. Ultimately, each individual needs to make their own decisions and manage the consequences accordingly.
@157 cutting sales people based on performance isn’t addressing problems. The problem is systemic and is causing reps that have been successful for years to struggle creating relationships within a customer base that’s been neglected for years because leadership doesn’t want to accept that takes time. It’s ignorance and data with no context or understanding of the business.
Regardless of if they use another layoff or performance plan terminations, we all know that our declining revenue and profitability means more employees will be cut soon.
It’s a sinking ship, but in the end the real losers will be the ones sc--wing others without cause and they’ll have to answer to that at some point -Karma
@157 perhaps here. I am saying the label alone doesn’t arbitrarily dictate whether severance is offered or not. That is a per company decision. At other companies you can be fired but still get severance. And in both cases you can apply for unemployment.
managers creating a bench of candidates
salesmen and women firings coming in jan by end of jan
many positions backfilled with fresh bl00d bc n0rl1n is p00ping his diaper due to heat from Js at KKR they think current ppl r bad so replacing them
May or may not affect what severance is paid out between the two.
No severance for people dismissed based on performance. It's not a layoff or restructuring. Open positions are being backfilled
It doesn't make the company look bad. Leaders are finally addressing problems
@11j yes. The difference is market signaling. Layoffs signal we’re not doing well and had to layoff. Performance signals the opposite. May or may not affect what severance is paid out between the two.
There will be no layoff.
Expect people to be let go for performance reasons in the new year. None of those should come as a surprise to anyone impacted.
Yes, more layoffs are coming but not before new year... all signs point to January/February time frame. Its about time they do something about our decline! They should have leaned out a while back but didn't want to pay out people's packages so instead they tried to push people out or change people's job to create a scenario that would allow them to let people go without a cause.
if were not selling anything might as well
I heard 95% :) (from another anonymous sh1tposter on this channel)
@OP Two weeks severance for the holidays! That would be a self centered management act if I ever saw one and another example of incompetence on leadership.
@aw "the only thing left is to cut costs and make it look like we are making money until they sell Omnissa to someone else."
Yes, they are trying to pull a Kevin O'Leary move... it would be interesting to see who would "want" to buy Omnissa.
Yes, changes are coming soon... The big man with glasses is going to make big changes in sales org which will "push" many folks out. The goal is to push as many people out without having to pay them a package. The strategy is not new, change the job description of the employees without officially changing the job description of the employees, then make them do what they are not trained to do or what they flat out are not able to do and then blame them for lack of performance and fire them with cause.
This is outrageous and just illegal. It would be interesting to see how many legal cases will come up as a result of this. It will be a mess...
Just imagine, the morel of the company has been absolutely poor for the past year (maybe even two) at least. This has affected our relationship with our customer, our product, our efforts, our team dynamic... no one cares any more. Employee trust in management is GONE due to lack of transparency and competence and wont return any time soon... let it sink in.
Sales will not improve because employee morel wont improve. Customer satisfaction wont improve because product wont improve... the only thing left is to cut costs and make it look like we are making money until they sell Omnissa to someone else.
With more cuts, there will be more layoffs... with more layoffs there will be lower employee moral which would means faster downward spiral.
So prepare yourselves... prepare for more useless administrative work, more dashboards to fill out, more useless minimum meetings to book with your customers, more useless excel sheets to fill out, more announcements that would sound like "going forward you will now have to do something you have never done and you will have to log it here on this form and if you don't you will show up on someone's dashboard..."
We're all at risk of being cut in the next layoff. We know that KKR can't extract cash flow from Omnissa's declining revenues. So more cuts are inevitable across the board.
Anyone still working in this scrap heap still after all the warnings are clearly insane or suffer from Stockholm syndrome.
