Is it true you are expected to work 60 hours a week but only paid for 40? That’s the rumor. I’ve heard also that they don’t have specialized engineers like stress, engineers, manufacturing engineers, or project engineers you’re expected to do all those roles?

hmm, i think that is called slave labor
which is odd since they live off of the federal debt
we would need to check the salary/benefits of upper management
to see if it matches their contributions to actually making the product
That is normal for newer companies. It is called “getting work done” and it is why spacex and others with that work ethic win.
So … look elsewhere you won’t fit in at new companies.
they must be getting paid a lot if that is true
