VH and all of her corporate friends at GW5 are just so deep into trouble that they will rely on luck to get them out of this. The cards will fall as the leaves and snow fly in the next 6 months.
@xv Well, I certainly got the point. If you can't defend Vicki's performance as CEO based on the objective - facts like financial metrics, stock price and the like - accuse the critic of being a hater, a s-xist, or whatever subjective term you wish. In other words, try to make it about something other than Vicki's failed tenure.

You are correct. Criticism doesn't necessarily mean hate. But it's so much easier to blame VH's poor performance as a CEO on something/anything other than her poor performance as a CEO.
Make it all about the subjective, not the objective. Facts be damned, therefore any critics, obviously, must be haters. The APC acquisition only failed because of hate.
Hate VH? No, she’s just incompetent and should be fired by board.

Agree 1000%! Any rational individual can plainly see Vicki is a special, incredibly talented CEO and we're lucky to have her leading us through these very difficult and challenging times. All the financial shows and publications constantly sing her praises and cite her shrewd business acumen for being able to take OXY stock from the mid 70's to single digits and then to the low 40''s today.
After all, you don't just get inducted into the Texas Women's Hall of Fame in 2025 by mistake. It takes an effort.
