Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Received offer but at a lower level with bonus target?

Heard lots of people are being affected by this. Those who got downgraded with lower grade level and bonus. Please share how you are affected and what's your plan?

Juniper staff are paid 5% to 10% more than HPE. Stick with facts.

Grade 9. Kept the level, but bonus goes down from 20% to 10% after 2026. He-l no. After bonus payout I'll be looking hard.

@120 are certain teams getting an invite to these integration meetings?

if u didn't expect to make any concessions, you are naive (unless your title starts with Chief title).

I kept my level, but supposedly the HPE bonus system is 10% and not 25% after 2026.

My plan? A lot of stuff can happen in over a year. I have always kept an eye open for other opportunities. Now I'll keep both eyes open, and I doubt I'll stay past '26. Top performer rating.

@jf corporate gaslighting at its finest

@jf this isn't entirely true. My entire team got pulled in at the same TCP level, regardless of tenure or title. Talking with Aruba engineers with similar job roles as ours they are surprised at how low our initial TCP level is and have commented that it's setting us back several years within HPE.

Can you provide an example of your level before and after the downgrade? This will help us determine if it’s a misinterpretation.

Most folks have got offers at the same grade level. The ones who say they’ve been downgraded don’t understand that HPE designations work differently than Juniper ones. So you may have been an Analyst 5 at Juniper. You may have got Analyst 3 or 4 level at HPE. That’s not a downgrade. Their org levels are defined differently and it is at the same level as your previous Juniper designation.

Bonus reduction is true. But folks complaining of downgrade in level are simply not understanding that levels are defined differently at HPE.

Most will have accepted the transition offer and plan to stay until they can find something else.

Doing otherwise means you will be out of a job immediately and possibly not a good option given the current job market.
