Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

When are the office based layoffs kicking in?

Elliot Management has been very slow and cautious in its handling of BP.

Elliot Management needs to force garage sale of BP’s less than attractive assets and start laying off entitlement workers asap.

What happened to Castrol GTX? How long does it take to offload this anchor?

Castrol is a great brand with lots of trusting customers.
Definitely better than TA.

They are already happening and will have more layoffs next year. I was told by P&C that we will be expected to do more i.e. do stuff outside our job description in this new organization. Many teams won't have P&C tag and will rely on an AI chatbot Eva. Hopefully Eva is a mass improvement over Scott, who is useless. All Scott could do was go into a circular response. So if Eva can't help you then you will be on your own to figure it out because there won't be any humanoids to help you. That's why things take so long to get done and management thinks we are saving a lot of money. You will need to have a lot of patience and not get easily frustrated. All those attributes I don't have.

This anchor has been providing BP with steady profit. Which, of course, BP wasted.
