The firm keeps making strategic mistakes - it continues to hire wrong people and often does not care about good performers. Attrition is too high anyway but with layoffs and similar moves we are cutting into meat.

Sounds like 300-400 positions, (out of a total of around 600-700 IT positions across the US) are outsourced to IBM. People have been told they have either upto April (developers) or June (infrastructure folks) to train IBM-ers and tranfer their jobs... — read more 

I can confirm that technology was decimated. In my office 8 out of 14 technology people were let go. I've heard a total of over 300 people nationwide will be terminated between April and June.
