They are saying around 2% lay off but target is probably 4-5%. We will see more coming in June/July similar to last year.
They are letting strategy, engineer & consultants go. They did Norwalk now but next is high cost locations such as New York, Boston and Chicago for consulting.
It is unfortunate other functions are hurting but of course nothing with sales. They cut travel budget for everyone except sales. Last May, they let 3% go and then we heard the sales team took over 100 people to Nascar Hall of Fame in NC for a week for celebration and appreciation on how bad they did & firing people month earlier.
