I mean. Gary was there for what, 16-18 mos and got it sold? that was his goal...tell me how good he looks when there is no more splunk.....HR, marketing, sales overlap, app/dev goes to cisco, heck, they might even rebrand it, but I doubt it cause it's a well known name. I am sure a bunch of Splunkers are like YAY!!! We love Cisco!!! Then they start getting to know what it's like to work for a real tech company with real budgets and people who are held accountable to that. Conf, a waste of time anyway, probably be shut down. And Cisco is gonna start giving splunk for a discount cause Splunk is already losijng traction vs competitors. it didn't even make the top 10 list last report. Also, Splunk's culture is widely known. Go to Twitter and check out #splunk and all the people that left and what they're saying. They're telling the truth. hahahahahahaha. Splunk has about 3500-4500 people who could easily be let go.
