Crown castle has a site standards handbook that they currently cannot comply with using thier existing FOTs. Customers and JXs will sla-ghter Crown with thier own manual if they charge premium rental fees but fail to perform simple maintenance that reduces risk associated with tower and site safety/appearance/obligation.
Who thought it'd be a great idea to cut out the quality field people and think combining field resources into a single job role would work out well? Yeah, lets cut out senior experienced people who do all the heavy lifting to save a few hundred thousand dollars in wages, which will cost MILLIONS in lost assets and increased liabilities??? How does taking budget away from OPS benefit the ever growing maintenance requirement of aging assets? And now no one has the time to look at each site or have money to fix it??? I'm not sure what person thought this was a good idea, but I point to failed experience and leadership at the highest level (JB) for a failing to be good stewards of the investors money and the customers lease payments.
Oh, and closing Cannonsburg and running off some of THE BEST TALENT in the industry is like using Crown investment dollars to buy AMT or SBA stock!
