Especially lots of manager level and up that do not know what they are doing. Question is when and if executives pay attention to the failures of vp, directors and managers and their true incompetence to finally cut them. We need a new mindset with... — read more

Fannie Mae Layoffs The Week Before Christmas

Fannie Mae Management laid off a huge number of FTEs and contractors the week before Christmas. Fannie Mae doesn't care about their employees. It's a toxic work environment. Avoid at all costs.

Last payday Dec 18th 2020?

Last pay check on Dec 18th in 2020. Many higher ups collecting pay checks with no skills. It is all quiet. Any layoff in operations/SF/Tech/Risk groups? Impacts to First level, director and VPs?

Freddie Mac CEP and HR head leave company

Either they jumped ship or were let go. With a presumable Biden presidency, leaving conservatorship does not seem likely. What does this mean for the GSEs?

They need to lay off folks. Look at Internal Audit alone and the huge amount of VPs abs above doing almost nothing and getting big salary, bonus and LTIP.

Fannie Mae Layoffs in Dallas (May 2017)

Yes, the actual layoffs occurred on 05/12/2017. The company of course didn't disclose -- not that I've seen anyway -- the total of number of layoffs company-wide, or layoffs by geographic area. I worked in Dallas for 8 years and I was hit.

So the new headquarters is 700,000 square feet as reported in the media. Typical office buildings have 200-250 sq ft per person. Theoretically 2800-3500 people could work at such a building?

2015 Layoffs at Fannie Mae and the industry

If things continue to slow down we will be more affected and you can expect some big layoffs in 2015. We had good few years and it cannot continue to be like this for long time. I would say get ready as 2015 layoffs look more and more realistic.
