I think it was all over news back in December that Apache will cut 2015 capital budgets - this was confirmed by the company. It's a straightforward calculation from that point, if they are cutting capital budges, there will be less money to spend on developing anything, so, that area will be decimated. I'd expect 20% to 30% cut in payroll by the end of the year. If the prices improve, we might be lucky and end up in a 10 to 15 percent range. I have no insider info and this is all based on my gut feeling. I've been following Halliburton, Shell, BP, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, Sandridge and SLB boards on this site - it's nuts that all of us are going through the same - it seems that BH and SLB are being hit particularly hard this week.

As a BH employee, I'm also watching the threads on other companies in the sector. I haven't seen anything official or news reports for Baker. But, I'm on night shift and the day isn't over yet. LOL.
I hope we bounce back quickly
