I've heard that for all layoffs in 2016, all you'll get is a roll of dimes and a handful of Chipotle coupons.
I had working for the company 10 years and they offer me 31k after tax I only get 20k my question is what about if i didn't accept the offer ????? Can you do anything????????
From my perspective: received few mo. severance, 2 mo. paid Cobra, no additional vesting, no pay for carried over vacation, only paid for 2015 accrued vacation time, & access to a career placement group.
Attorney friend told me anyone not paid for carry over should call the OK Labor Dept. since this is against the state labor laws even if the corporation stated they are under TX Labor Laws. Work was done in OK.
I am getting about 3 months worth of salary in a lump sum, extended medical coverage, and a little bit of the vacation paid out to me.
Vacation and insurance? No months salary? Stocks vest? I'm not trying to be rude or rub salt in any wounds I just would like to have an idea of what to be prepared for because I have no doubts more cuts will be coming.
They paid us for our Vaca and our insurance is good til March.
