Telecom in KC lots of layoffs in February 2019. Handing their projects to subcontractors who can do it cheaper. B&V is a sham. Horrible management

Worst place I ever worked!
BV always lays people off over several weeks. They do that to avoid reporting it to the state labor boards, and it avoids getting published in the papers. I believe the rule is 50 from one location in one pay period. So, you get 24 per week from different locations. True layoff total is, probably, at least 72. They also rotate which division lays people off. When I was there, Energy and Federal laid of in March & September. Water and Telecom must be in the June and December. But they don't lay people off right before Christmas. The bastards haven't hired a full time employee above an Engineer 2 in six or seven years. Sooo... Happy New Year!!
