You have a leadership team that has failed in every respect. They have taken advantage of students, employees, stockholders and tax payers for so long that there is little credibility. This ECMC deal is true to CCi’s form and reputation – shady. Few trust in CCi’s ability to deliver a positive outcome. They may ultimately pull off all or part of this fetid transaction but there is scant silver lining. Students, employees, stockholders and taxpayers will continue to be pillaged by this organization’s unscrupulous past actions regardless of the conceivable near term outcomes. The harm already shamelessly inflicted on so many for so long will not be healed. Yes, they changed lives, but few for the better. And that is all I have to say.

At what cost were the few changed for the better? Ask ECMC. They get paid to aggressively clean up the mess on the other side. The cost of one success is immense and irrevocable financial hardship for hundreds, maybe thousands. And they just cut a sweet deal to both create and clean up the debt at a profit (albeit non-profit).
