I was a managing principal geologist, supervising several technical and admin employees in the Pacific northwest ( both Washington and Oregon); The staff and managers expressed disbelief on why I was laid off to my supervisor and human resources. I also was informed the the existing client manager expressed his viewpoint that I was not responsible for the financial situation that I was supposedly held accountable for. I was making about $105,000 per annum and was given a 10 % salary reduction in January 2010; at the time I specifically asked if I would be safe from any further issues, such as layoffs and I was informed that the salary reduction would be the extent of it. I feel I am entitled to lost wages and other compensation, since I was only given 2 weeks of severence to be laid off.

F*** stantec. I would pick up cans before working for those idiots again.
I do not think you are entitled to anything, it's an at-will contract, so they can release you at any point in time
