Thread regarding Coca-Cola Co. layoffs

Executive compensation is the problem

Coke makes hundreds of millions in profits, the head honcho Mutuar Kent makes 20+ million a year, but the little guy is the issue, right? How about a pay cut for the execs and really make Coca Cola what it used to be. I hate how they treat their employees it is horrible, what happened to this greedy company! A well dressed man (didn't even tell them his name!) came to my husband's warehouse in the graveyard shift and announced you might want to save up because you will be out of a job so good luck and left! No personal one on one my husband works the morning shift and found out by a note the graveyard shift left! Save what money every employee lives paycheck to paycheck, after bills are paid each week we have $120 to our name, so we have to buy food, diapers and gas in the car with that, but I ma so glad the top guys are living it up in their yachts!

So Sad, they promised our division no layoffs last year. The VP even stood in front of everyone and said "Don't worry... no one is this room will lose their jobs". Then 4 months later 6 were called into the office and lost their jobs. Don't trust Coke. I wonder if the shareholders know how crooked this company really is?

For those of you who see coca-cola as such a great company, know that people that were let go, were notified by telephone or email. There was no human contact with anyone concerning the layoff.
