Last year when CCi changed the vacation policy it was to end their liability to pay out vacation time that was unused. This was to save them money. Unfortunately, if you have vacation when the doors close in COS there will be no "accrued" vacation time to take with you. Sorry.
I've had all my vacation requested days denied so far. If I'm super lucky they'll approve my vacation for the last week of Feb. HA! Everest sucks.
We'll most likely lose the vacation and won't be able to take time off, though feel like doing it anyway. Telling me I can't take my vacation is ridiculous. I could use one already.
This has been standard practice for ECPO since March. I have 100 hours of vacation that are essentially useless, since as a FT instructor I'm not permitted to take vacation.
Use it or lose it means that there is no carry over. I would check state laws to see what happens to vacation days when you are terminated/laid off/quit
Our vacation was converted to "use it or lose it". We can't get any days approved so we will lose it when they close the doors.
Paid out? lol
Will it be paid out when the place closes next month?
