I have to admit, I'm surprised I don't see any posts about the call held yesterday by "huddle around the campfire" Michael Stiglish. The call was held for Directors and above and I only hope that ECMC had a representative on the call. He repeatedly "assured" all that any communication coming out suggesting that ECMC's direction of being student-centric and not enrolling for the sake of enrollments is simply "optic" (smoke and mirrors) (and should not be taken personally)since we all know that CCi has always been student-centric and never enrolled for the sake of enrollments. RRRIIIGGGHHHTTT. He spent an hour stroking his own massive ego "around the campfire" with his best Kool-Aid drinkers. He didn't want anyone to be offended by ECMC suggesting that CCi had done anything wrong. He continued to state that ECMC had to release communications of that sort since the DOE can't have the impression that ECMC will keep operating the way CCi has. Yep, Michael, we all know that CCi only enrolled students who had the ability to complete and succeed in careers. That's why there's no application fee or enrollment requirement. One suggestion for Stiglish: don't get too close to your campfire with all that hot air. Oh, and, FYI half the Kool-Aid drinkers have stopped enjoying the beverage. The offices are full of eye-rollers amazed by two things: that you are still employed and that you are dumb enough to make those comments on a conference call. Good luck, buddy.

Your statement is false. MS was trying to help others manage their mind-sets as well as prepare them for assisting their teams through the upcoming change. He also was attempting to help people understand that change does equate wrong. Amazing how simple minded some people are. So many of you reference leadership from year's past -- how great someone was. Well ... we did not get into this situation based on what happened in the last 2 to 3 years. We are in this situation due to those great leaders that so many of you speak about. Please get a clue before you post.

What do you expect? MS is an admissions guy, all he knows how to do is bullshit. As far as ECMC possibly being on the call, if they were they probably didn't like what they heard. MS also isn't the brightest bulb on the tree. I wasn't on the call, but can confirm that at least the gist of the OP's post is correct.
