I have two classes loaded in eCollege and one actually has students in it so classes will be continuing which leads me to believe the purchase WILL happen this month.

And so the roller coaster ride continues.
I worked for a campus that suddenly went into teach out mode 3 weeks into the term. It was so unexpected by everyone that I was hired less than one month prior and the campus had just been reaccredited. No warning. Everyone was shocked. That means nothing except that anything can happen.
"why so many idiots here want to spread misinformation." You might have a different view had you worked for a school that filed bankruptcy. The doors can close suddenly, even with future classes assigned.
Of course, we are having a term. I have classes too. Of course, we (Everest Online, at least) have been sold and will continue on. I have no idea why so many idiots here want to spread misinformation. I'm a full-time faculty member, and we are all continuing on. Don't believe all these nuts trying to spread misinformation.
The two are not connected.
