CCI not paying its bills would seem to be pretty dispositive with regards to the size or lack thereof of the bank account.

This troll would have no idea that a BK is a done deal and that CCI is out of cash. We can all speculate all we want, but the reality is that none of us on this board have access to CCI bank accounts and truly know what their cash supply is. CCI is publicly traded, as we know, and with the press coverage of CCI, even the filing of any type of BK paperwork would be public record and the sharks would be all over it. My point is, we can speculate on here and say, in our opinion, we think CCI may end up filing BK, but to post "it is a done deal" is just a lie because it is not, in fact, a done deal at this point.

The enrollment numbers are well what the enrollment numbers are. And those numbers are dismal.

Heald is DONE. WHY ?? Outside of the obvious legal liabilities. HEALD HAS NO NEW COLLEGE ENROLLMENTS. Try LESS THAN 80 NEW STUDENTS per campus. SOME campuses have LESS THAN 20 NEW STUDENTS for the upcoming quarter. You do the math.

Heald is being shutdown. The employees aer NOT going to be told about it. The SMART employees have already figured it out. Heald gets shut down almost IMMEDIATELY AFTER CCI files its Chapter 7 BK.

817 - You assume that lack of general knowledge about shutdown plans means that there are no such plans. I have yet to see any public info that foretells a positive outcome. Everything that is widely known seems to indicate the opposite. Stay tuned and have a solid Plan B............

I keep reading that Heald is a money maker, but I"m not sure where this is coming from. The latest financial report I could find on the investors.cci.com site was from last year. It doesn't break down revenue by brand. I thought the reason CCi bought Heald was that they thought they could make money due to the regional accreditation. However, I've never seen evidence that this happened, and I think the ED action makes it less likely to happen. Basically, the revenue model was making money from federal loans, and we all know what happened there.

It does seem like the AG of California wants Heald to shut down. How will CCI continue if it is difficult to sell their moneymaker because of the liabilities that come with the sale of the school?

But what does that mean? They wouldn't begin a quarter just to close down. Teach out? If you're going to post up made-up crap at least think it through.
