Any good memories from working at Socle? A lot of people have worked with the company for a long time. It can't all be bad, right?

Wow really? They spent so much money to develop Socle education and now look. It's a piece of cap that nobody eants. And they did this with Title IV funds, your raises, your bonuses, your paychecks. That's where the money went. Now it's just a paper weight. Hey Golden child. You suck!

I totally agree with you. You're are truly accountable! I knew it was the managers that are unaccountable & screw ups. After all I don't know how they came up with the policies that they sometime share with me when questioned how they came up with The answer when they close a ticket.
55611: Isn't it funny (not ha ha funny) how we all bought into the idea of SFS because we were so frustrated with Global's BS, then SFS pretty much becomes Global 2.0? I'm at Socle and came from SF at a campus, and I've seen it happen. It's not that the staff are all incompetent, it's the managers. Whenever we have someone good, management becomes suspicious of them ("why is he questioning this student's eligibility" or "why is she being so picky about verification?"). So what happens is that if you are conscientious and become knowledgeable about financial aid, you become a liability (what if you squealed about all the underhanded shit we do?) and are let go. What's left are a never-ending roster of newbies and long-termers who've become that by either laying low (like me) or because they really are dumb and lazy. We are understaffed and overworked, and under constant pressure to push money through at all costs. Trust me, we're miserable as well.
Why should we stop complaining about Socle? Likely not to happen. First of all, they were entrusted to take over the campus reports and process. They have done nothing right since the takeover of reports and processes. Second of all the excuses! Either they need more information, subject line is inaccurate, or training opportunities. Obviously, the trainer is an idiot because the newbies don't know what the heck they're doing. I know we're supposed to be a team but it does not look that way since they keep pitting out there that they're not under CCI. Don't know who's worse, Global or Socle.

Really!!?? I spent most of the day calling students to put them on cash payment. 99% of the students were told by the campus that they did not have to make a payment for six months after they graduate. Most of the students have cash balances of over $4000 that they have to payoff in two months, when they could have been making payments since June. Because all you idiots were banking on the school closing I have to tell these poor people sorry you wont get your diploma when they graduate. Yep Socle sucks, we clean up the campus' mistakes!
Campus stop all the hatred towards Socle. Please tell me one thing. If Socle did not process and post funds....how would you continue to get paid? Socle understands without the campus personnel we would not have jobs...why can't you respect what we do for our students as well as the campus staff? We should stop all the bickering and support each other - and always put our students first. Happy New Year and embrace our future endeavors.
Socle sucks. It caused campuses more work. Socle couldn't package a student even if they were a cash student. Can't wait for Socle to be gone. Socle was nothing more than someone's stupid idea and a huge waste of money. 75% of their packaging had to be redone at campus level.
SOCLE does nothing right and it always needs to be redone by the campus. We can't wait to dump them!
Correct. However, the top management people (RVPO and above) are bad.
