no town hall meetings. Canadian school sale to GSI still moving. ECMC is still interested in the CA schools but CA AG is not changing her mind. Stacy in HR mentioned that the close date may move from 1/5 to 1/12 because of the holidays, sorry naysayers the sale is still closing. This is from my weekly meeting. Stay safe on new years.

412: have you? Unless you have then you are in no position to speak intelligently on the profitability or potential lack thereof of Heald. I seriously doubt that anyone in a position to review and assess the Rolling Quarter Reports would post anything on this board.
Heald campuses most profitable? Guess you have not seen the last several Rolling Quarters Reports.
375 hit the nail on the head. What is the most profitable schools for CCI? Heald has been
367, it states that corinthian must work towards signing agreements for campus sales within approximately six months (which they have done). Nowhere does it state the schools must be sold or shut down. Now Corinthian just needs to renegotiate the terms of the agreement with the DOE in January. CCI has held up their end of the deal thus far. The DOE knows exactly how hard they worked to sell the CA and Heald campuses as. At this point we will know more once the new terms of the operating agreement are established. No need to panic quite yet.
365, I think you are mistaken. In the original Operating Agreement signed July 8th, it specifically states that CCI has 6 months from the date of signing which will be January 8th to sell or teach out the schools. Now, I'm hoping if CCI can show the DoE they have a serious buyer for Heald, they can amend the agreement for a little extra time.
There is nothing in the operating agreement that states CCI MUST sell CA or any of the other campuses for that matter. There was never a deadline for a sale in the agreement. Itjust calls for re-evaluation of the agreement which will happen in January (so I have heard) It does seem that there is some irony behind the fact that the Cal AG left CCI with so many profitable campuses in CA and Heald. CCI could continue to run them if so choose too. Maybe that is why Bob decided to stay? Who really knows. All I know is this has been very disruptive and emotional for students and employees and I wish everyone the best!
355: how do you know this? I haven't seen any type of documentation filed online with an amendment to the Operating Agreement stipulating the deadline has been extended.
Deadline was extended to March 31st. Negotiations continue.
....not sold....
Doesn't the operating agreement call for any school or sold by the deadline to go to teach-out?
Agree 337.
I would be shocked and extremely frustrated if the DoE spent all this time and energy to shut CCI down, not to mention the anxiety and uncertainty it has created for many of us, only to end up letting CCI remain in business to run the CA schools. If that is what ends up happening, then what the hell was this whole thing for! Just my opinion.
Seriously? The Dept of Ed would allow CCi to run Heald? The stock is at 6%, the company is on the skids, no way is CCI going to be allowed to run anything.
What about the CA Everest schools?
Who is GSI? We had heard a company called GUS was in the running to buy Canada but it fell apart. Now there is an investment company looking. Haven't heard anything about GSI.
The CA schools are Heald. Yes the DoE will allow CCI to stay in business and run the schools.
Is this what Bob was referencing and why he recinded his resignation? Should just as Nikee.
Any news about Heald specifically? Do you really think it's possible for the DOE to allow CCI to stay in business to run the CA schools?
Nothing about Ca except CCI is going to run them or sell them. That is the same thing I have heard since the a announcement
Was anything else said about the CA campuses?
Well if Stacy says so it must be true.
