Seriously? Calm down? lol. The rule of the game is: "There are NO LAYOFFS......until there IS A LAYOFF!" This is the same group that said no layoffs in 2007 at integration with KM.....and then there were over 700. Pardon me when I know how this game goes. Reality: They aren't cutting the millions in executive benefits and play things and play toys exclusive to themselves..... And that pisses a helluva LOT of us off! You can play into their fluff and back their personal greediness but don't be shocked when you're one of the ones layed off when there IS a layoff!

All of you need to calm down...he said NO LAYOFFS! THAT is the MOST important thing. VCP? Heck, that comes around every 5 years or so. We are already paid much higher than our industry peers. We are getting 20-40% bonuses this year of our gross salary, that is ridiculous with this market! Don't like it? Leave. Make room for us who actually want to stay. I will gladly take a freeze in pay in order for my fellow employees not to get laid off.

The arrogance of our senior management amazed me today. They truly think they can take their raises and bonuses and then turn to the rest of us and say "yours won't be there this year but be thankful we are giving you a bonus (and a smaller one than usual for AIP)....we are dis continuing a program.... ". So we should just take the news and not question it? Some of us aren't the APC robots. And wht talent that hasn't already left our company already in the last 2 years will now find it very easy to move on. APC just revealed its future today.

Can't speak for who originally posted but I am well read. Surprised ?? Well duh! This is APC under Walker so NO. But I was hoping they could live our core values because the explanation was WEAK based on how they are conducting business. Are our peers companies doing this to their staff?? That would be a NO. Did the 50+ officer/execs take their salary increases a few months ago?? That would be a YES! Just more to the point of the execs and their never ending greed. Now at the expense of the people that do the work! SO, Sell the hunting lodges! Sell a few planes for + $40 million! They could have cut back elsewhere to make sure employees get an adjustment for cost of living. AND now Eliminating VCP?? They sent a BIG message to us today and it wasn't a positive one. (They probably are hoping people quit so they can save severence cost when the do a layoff - which is probably coming next.)
