Anonymous65237 - There were individuals who were told on the first day that their position was being eliminated but they were given an option(with extra incentives) to stay of for the transition period. There isn't another pool of cuts at this point. Most of these people were engineers in remote offices that were closed completely. They are transferring product knowledge to core sites.
Just got a note from the leader of engineering. I dont think the pains over yet. He said that there is a restructuring and more people will be impacted after 3-6 months.
Citrix is moving as much as they can to 'low cost' development centers in China, India and eastern Europe. How un-American is that! The true Citrix is DEAD! The new management does not care about keeping jobs in America or Ireland. It I was a customer I would be very concerned...
200 was the number we were hearing since last week. So no surprise there.
