Heald is a value play in the sector. Everyone in the group needs campuses and enrollments, so a Heald sale is going to happen. There is simply too much available for buyers to pass up. They ca move the HQ out of CA and get away from a number of California legal issues. I would expect something in 2-3 weeks.

State of California DA office will not allow the liability to be released. What company wants to acquire a school with so many negative baggage. Where are you getting your sources from? It's one thing to be optimistic, but the OP is hallucinating.
You can tell Heald is in the crapper because no one wants to talk about their situation. If there is anything positive, we would at least hear that. But no.......

Yea, the original post was idiotic. However, it's still hard to imagine Heald simply shutting down. That would be a lose-lose for everybody involved, and there are still so many different ways to avoid that worst-case scenario. God knows.

It is good to see the positive responses here. It is either a case of former employees who are bitter about being swept aside as the company "trims fat," so to speak, or investors posing as fools in an attempt to short suitor stocks. Heald Employees: please do relax. A deal should be in place shortly.
65092 - All I see is an ID-10-T error, and that would be you. Clearly you are not one of the smarter Heald employees. You must be a SR. manager (I.E. kool-aid drinker) or something. I know they got rid of most of them, but clearly they have at least one more that needs to hit the door.
