By the end of the day we will have 20% less workers if compared to yesterday. Jolly good...

13 cut from saas, departments include corporate communications, customer experience, facilities, finance and human resources
OK, so in summary here, we have a few hundred people (let's assume 400), and less than 10 people let go, so it boils down to 2.5% cut which is pretty much nothing compared to all other locations that got hammered in double digits. So, we can close this thread with a conclusion that Santa Barbara got hit slightly and that it weathered the storm much better than pretty much everyone else.
False rumors -- Citrix own the SB building and no plans to go anywhere. The division is thriving. All US layoffs were complete by EOD yesterday.
few hundred at least, but the sb campus isn't going anywhere
How many people we have in SB?
This is only a first step towards a 2 campus consolidation in India & NC. Alpharetta, Fla, SB, etc. are going bye-bye.
20% is incorrect and whoever keeps writing that needs to stop
Less than 10 employees were impacted in the SB offices
Please stop spreading rumors
It is a difficult enough situation
The truth is always somewhere in the middle, so let's say 10%
what department in sb was hit the hardest?
Several people in SB laid off today, don't know exact number. Apparently there will be no master list disseminated. It appears that more senior levels were affected but that is based on very limited knowledge. Presumably most of the action is done in SB.
Has anyony heard about anyone getting the AX today in SB?
not yet, maybe tomorrow
Any new news in SB?
It is true - 20%.
This is absolutely untrue.
Please be careful what you write. Can't say more than that
Its possible that the reported "20%" is in a given group or even building but I seriously doubt it is SB wide.
This is not true.
Can someone confirm or deny this?
I don't think this is true. The SaaS division, based mostly in Santa Barbara, already went through a reorg about a year ago and is killing it.
What levels are affected?
