Do you know if we will be having a reorganization that will result in layoffs? What about UK folks? Also, are layoffs going to be in the first or second half of 2015?

Bottomline had a layoff again on 12/4/2015, Just in time for Christmas. This means that they are having a bad quarter. Adjust your portfolio accordingly.
In case anyone is looking for information as to whether or not Bottomline Technologies lays people off regularly, the answer is yes. Not a judgement of the company, just a fact of our cultural pattern. Look up reviews on Glassdoor.com to see comments that support that fact. The mass layoff has already occurred this year and we've brought on a large pool of new hires. You're good for at least a couple of years before you'll be put into the layoff pool, so I recommend coming here for a year and a half, maximizing your benefits and looking to move to a different company on your own terms before Bottomline can lay you off unexpectedly (the timing is usually beginning of 3rd Quarter or beginning of 2nd Quarter).
The way to avoid the layoff is to consistently apply for and request to move to a higher position i.e. Customer Service --> Supervisor ---> Operations Management etc. If that game-plan works for you and you want to stay here, I wouldn't worry about it.
The layoff was global and affected all LOB's as far as I know and happened at the end of January.
Thanks for your information
