Over the past 18 months, GTS has taken substantial steps to stabilize and scale infrastructure solutions across the Company, CCR and CONA Bottler operations driving synergies and operational efficiencies for the business. However, in order to optimize the work to support the Company’s recent bottler refranchising plans, we will begin immediately to realign CCR infrastructure work to the BIG IT organization.
The work will transition into the BIG organization over the next several months. We will communicate the impact of this shift the week of February 16, at the same time of the overall GIT announcements. In fact, while we are planning the transition of the CCR GTS work, we will also be identifying work we can stop, scale back or move to further streamline and simplify GTS.
I encourage you to stay focused on the important work we’re delivering now, to assist in the transition preparation, and to stay tuned for more information as we finalize our plans. We are committed to being transparent and to provide as much information as frequently and quickly as we can, and we’ll ensure fair, equitable and compassionate treatment of all our people throughout this process.
