The Flagstaff DC will close this spring, there is around 400 people working there and they will all be let go. The job market in Flagstaff is very weak and I am sure all of the folks that will be let go will have hard time finding jobs. Good luck to everyone and I hope the economy bounces back quickly. Nestle Purina was hiring and I think some folks went to work over there, so that's a good thing.

The city's resistance over the years to promote business in the area is really bad for everyone including the city. Flagstaff's geographic location should make us perfect for large and multiple DCs'. We should have companies like, oh let's say... Amazon or Google... Right here in my back yard. But, we are playing this in a wrong way and things will continue to be bad.
