Sick and tired of all these games to keep investors happy, investors cheering at the news of the cuts with the share price rising. They wouldn't be cheering if it was their damn job on the line! if I go on Wednesday after more than 10 years at Citrix, the next company I work at I'll make sure are not on the stock market! If some of the middle management who have zero managements skills (tech guys who hit a technical ceiling with their ability or not and couldn't progress the tech track anymore) go that will be a blessing as this has really impacted on teams in recent years.

Amen. As far as I'm concerned, any company that needs the stock market is not financially stable, as they cannot make it on their own without "investors." No more public companies for me, either. This is the SECOND disaster I've had with a public company--the first one went Chapter 7 within 2 years of going public because it went to the CEO's head.
Don't they (stockholders) own the company?
