What is a typical severance payment for someone in the IT group? I do not recall this being covered as I joined but at my old company we got 2 weeks of pay for every full year of service. The emphasis here is on "FULL" as the year when you started would not count. I think that we'll have a lot of cuts in 2015 as things become more difficult in the industry and wanted to make sure I have good understanding on how to prepare.
