Nabors' subsidiary Canrig let go of approximately 40 people today - and that's just the beginning of what the company has announced will be a 12% RIF (3600 people). Nabors is asking for voluntary resignations, encouraging early retirement, and warning of more layoffs and furloughs.

It was started at the Willow Place facility today, and still going on as I type.
Canrig is headquartered in Houston, but has offices all over - Canada, North Dakota, South Texas, etc. Workforce of approx. 1000.
Where is Canrig located?
