Do you know what the reort plans for this year are - it seems that every year somehow we reorganize and then we have layoffs. I've been around since 2002 and I have seen everything (at least I think that) - I do not think that I may get surprised any more. I know they will shuffle things, I know they will lay people off, I know that executives will make even more money, I know that 2015 will be tougher than any other year as that seems to be a pattern.

44M for CEO is pretty lucrative given viacom's market cap.
Share price is suddenly way down after a good rise for a few years. Is something wrong?
this company is sh*t. employees are treated like trash. why would anyone with a brain want to work here? low wages and constant restructuring. it used to be every 2 years. then every year. now it seems like it's every 6 months. phillipp's head should roll for spending 10 years locked in a war with youtube.
this doesn't look good -- http://nypost.com/2015/03/04/mtv-pioneers-could-be-on-the-chopping-block/
i know of a VP & assistant who were laid off on 3/4.
hearing the blood bath likely tomorrow or friday. apparently, no one is safe on this one
Absolutely nothing that this company does makes any sense. There is no structure, no transparency, no one can look anyone in the eye, a shitload of money goes to a swanky holiday party with warm sushi when employees rather get a higher raise or keep their jobs, and all efforts made are an absolute joke. Who else participated in the company questionnaire where we could review Viacom and make suggestions? Where did any of that lead, besides getting a few random emails about Nielsen ratings. Who has been forced to tirelessly discuss and set career goals that are unachievable and were led to believe there are higher rungs to climb, when such positions don't even exist? It seems that the money and time this company spends on wasted resources should be carefully reviewed.
I see a lot of views here, I guess there is a ton of people concerned. Viacom has no love for any of the employees, all of us can be let go at any point in time. It's a dog eats dog culture, I will be leaving soon for a smaller company. Adios!
