Here's the problem
-
Myopic leadership - Higher ups are absolutely clueless as to what's happening at the ground levels
-
Push for faster releases with unnecessary product add ons makes the products released buggy, difficult to troubleshoot and unnecessarily complex (SSO anyone?)
-
Most workplaces are becoming breeding grounds of favouratism and groupism
-
Zero transparency in decision making at all levels
-
The push to replace talented work force with cheaper "trainable" workforce means all talented folks make a beeline for the nearest exit
-
No ground breaking products in over four years. Yes there were acquisitions. But that does not count as product enhancement. That essentially means as a company you are now failing to innovate
-
Absolutely no way for the lower rung employees to provide constructive feedback.
The way I see it, VMware is headed for tough times ahead!
