Thread regarding Ensign Group Inc. layoffs

2015 Layoffs at Ensign

I left Ensign back in 2009, that was bad time. I hear that up to 700 may be let go in Jan 2015 or after - if one of you are reading, here is my advice: Keep the chin up and push hard to find new job - it's not easy out there but there are jobs to be had. Just make sure that you have grit and that layoffs do not make you depressed or doubting your abilities

I was laid off in Edmonton EPC. The whole structure has had problem since it was built. They claimed to organize EPC but the drilling teams have never really asked assistance from them. Most of the work has been created or imagined by its managers.

Those who started the department were senior guys who wanted to enhance their positions-by recruiting engineers, technologists, experts, and other guys.
