It seems that our "leadership" (KD, DS, etc, etc) have been dropping hints that they are going to get raises with ECMC and have "carte blanche" to run Socle without outside interference. So, does this mean that we will STILL not have an HR department? Will DS's crazed tantrums get even worse? Is that even possible? Will KD just set herself up a smoking lounge next to a McDonald's and stop pretending she does anything else besides smoke and stuff her face with junk? For those of you at Socle in complete denial that you are part of CCi – Go read any of CCi’s Forms 8k filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Try the most recent one dated 12/9/2014 for example. Socle Education Inc. is listed as a subsidiary of CCi and Guarantor on the CCi Credit Agreement along with all of CCi’s other subsidiaries.

I'm out as of last week, taking a two-week vacay before starting the new gig. OP -- if ECMC keeps that foul crew (Socle management) on then they deserve anything they get, including prison time. If you're still there, what the heck are you waiting for? Get out before dumb-ass ECMC manages to prove that they can be even stupider than CCi management is. Looks like they're trying. So far that's the impression I'm getting from them anyway.
951: There are people on here claiming that CSC IT have started receiving LOIs, but the ones I've talked to haven't. It's probably just a troll. I think there is going to be a slew of RIFs first. If they hand out LOIs and you didn't get one, it might really piss you off. Better to clear out the ones who are going and lock the doors behind them in case one of them goes postal. I don't think I'd like living in an open-carry state right now, especially if I was CCi management. They have really let down a LOT of folks! (not that I'd with harm on them, just saying that these things have to be handled carefully)

Oh for God's sake, just cut it out! Everyone who actually works at Socle KNOWS that at least the last two comments are our idiot managers still trying to BS us. It has been clearly shown that (1) Socle is just another brand name of CCi, like Everest, and was formed when SFS changed its name last year, (2) that Socle is part of the ECMC acquisition package and that they are only interested in maintaining a small crew to process aid for their schools until they have the expertise to move that function back to the campuses. Why the hell would you morons keep up the silly pretense at this stage of the game?!? Losers!
976 is right. Look at the CCi and Socle Education websites. There is NO legal association spoken of between the two.
You made a false assumption that Socle Education, Inc. is a part of CCI. They are not. They have never been "legally" associated with CCI. That is why they were never called out in the DOE agreement. Socle pays a fee to CCI to be using CCI facilities and equipment. Socle Education, Inc. is not a publically traded corporation and can "quietly" do anything they want. Furthermore, it was Jack's long term intention to sell off the colleges and build up the Socle business. However, the DOE actions in June messed up his plans big time.

ECMC quietly bought Socle Education about two weeks ago. This is why you have not read anything about them in any of the announcements about the sale of the schools. Some of the employees/managers have been layed off and left. Some of the employees were picked up by Marketing in the CSC. ALL of Socle's customers have been told to find other companies to work with. As a brand, Socle will be gone and the remaining employees and managers will be assimilated into ECMC.
Has anyone received LOI from ECMC?
Nah, Socle is gonna be shut down and finaid processing brought back in the schools. I'm gonna miss you Socle folks, though. You always have the best posts on this board. Must be a helluva place to work!
