I love the DST. I would work here my hole career if given the opportunity. It is intellectual work. It is pressing and important. I enjoy it.

The only bad thing is....all the years of hard work in systems development means nothing....in 5 years all your code will be deleted and re-written by younger workers, in 10 years your department will be closed or sold off and there will be no trace of the work you did over your career. My brother, as an architect will be able to point to buildings 40 years from now that he designed and people are still using. At DST even your most important work is gone without a trace. Kind of like the movie "About Schmidt" where the retired guy finds all his career long files in the trash can the day after he gives notice.
